Air conditioning barely cold only on one vent (Has a definitive solution been found?)

HI All,

2018 SS 1LE here. When I picked up the car brand new AC did not work. Brought it in, they topped up refrigerant. Worked for a month or so. Parked it on a hot day and when I went to use it only cold in one vent and not as cold as it should be.

I have searched these forums as well as elsewhere and cant seem to find a definitive answer as to the cause. Some say blend door actuator some say some sort of sensor in dash gets fried.

Anyone fix this 100%? Thanks!

I have that same problem in my 16 but only intermittently. I have read about faulty actuator but nothing about it being a warranty fix. Read where the windshield and dash had to come out and the labor cost was very high.
