Smile Clicking noise when i turn the car off

Hey everyone .....i have a 2018 camaro 1ss 15,000....every so often when i turn the car off i hear a click noise come from the bottom of the car anyone else know what this is..... been happening since i purchased the car

Like a sporadic click? As if you were tapping a small metal stick to some other metallic part? Every once in a while?

All my cars have been doing that... Only when engine is hot
Never had an issue.

Never have been able to explain it though. Probably some thermal expansion/contraction.

Possibly the CATS cooling. My ZL1 1LE does the same after track sessions.

It is the exhaust/cats cooling off. Makes some loud banging noises underneath my car after turning it off.
