BMR Strut Tower Brace

Just an FYI... when I was thinking of buying one of these for my ZLE I found different opinions about whether or not it fit with the LT4, or if it might impact under hard acceleration with motor movement and body twist.

After 7 hard track days on 4 tracks (Auto Club Speedway, Streets of Willow, Big Willow, and Buttonwillow) I'm glad to report this strut bar seems to fit perfectly, no contact with motor.

For anyone asking if I noticed a difference, of course not :-) IMO with a chassis this stiff only pro racer could notice a difference.

I bought one, since I was upgrading the entire car with BMR stuff. Once you put all their suspension arms, toe rods, cradle lockouts, cradle braces, etc, it stiffens the car up quite a bit. Very noticeable.

Mine came in an ugly bronze hammertone finish, like patio furniture. I had it powdercoated semi gloss black. Yours has a nice finish.

I also did all 4 of the rear arms/rods. Btw, I found that a couple shots of Blaster white lithium grease spray takes care of any spherical bearing noise for ~2 months, and only the lowest arm (?) made any noise so it's very easy to reach it

BMR recommended rubber covers from Summit Racing for the spherical bearings. I jammed them full of grease and pulled them over the bearings.
