I'd rather GM now have added the wing but have added the 1LE splitter and either the 1LE rims or new set of rims all together.
Me too. But, with only 350 cars and no other ZL1 wheels in the parts bin, this was the only choice. They aren't going to throw ZL1 1LE wheels and tires on a non-1LE. They could have at least painted the wheels matte black or something though.

The SS package doesn't seem half bad considering it comes with the ZLE wing and splitter

Where are you seeing that the SS comes with the ZLE wing? I thought that it said that it comes with the ZL1 spoiler. It shows the ZL1 with the ZLE wing but, it's on constraint so, if it isn't a part of that $15k package and it doesn't say that it is, then it probably won't be available to order.

Disappointing final packages imo.

I thought the SS and ZL1 shared the same spoiler, so I guess I read it as wing instead since that would be a difference. I hadn't realized until now that the SS and ZL1 spoilers are slightly different (new to 6th gen). reading comprehension is hard

They made different rims for the others. GM is just trying to eat up all the extra $$ they can from those that love paying over for things like this.

At least the picture shows a different rim on the SS but the description says black wheels.

It doesn't.

ZL1 CE has the ZL1 1LE wing
SS CE has the standard ZL1 spoiler

In the past, they made and developed other rims for models that they were making more than 350 of.

The wheels on the SS have been available for a few years now as an option. There's a 23 SS sitting in front of me now with the same wheels on it. They are the same wheels that first appeared on the V6 1LE cars. That means that they are wheels that they already had in the parts bin.

So are you mad that they're not doing special ZL1 wheels or what? Do you think that if they did special wheels or an LT5 that folks wouldn't overpay for it? I guess I'm confused as to what exactly you're disappointed in.

I’m glad that this is what they came out with. I didn’t need a reason to want a 2024. After seeing the CE packages, I don’t have interest in one.

They only had 10 minutes in the planning meeting, because they had an EV planning meeting afterward. They had to come up with something quick.

LT5 has been discontinued since 2021. There was no chance it was ever going to be in the 2024 CE.

Lol, Dodge boys for the win every time! Dodge signs out with the baddest ICE of all time. Mind you 1 year only complete revamp of the entire engine, trans and rear end package, wait for it, a parachute mount ( because it fricking needs it) for maybe $10K over a regular Redeye, forgetting dealer markup. GM signs out with a paint job and a watch for $15 K. Ummmmmmmm……….. this is so classic GM it makes me sick.
I guess the good news is my cars stock just ticked up another notch.
