HPT has unlocked my A10 T93, should have it back the 21st.

Looks like HP Tuners is now unlocking the T93 TCMs, that's some real good news and a real saving for us who are having tuning issues because the T93 TCM limits the amount of torque and pulls 9 degrees of timing on my launch. So, you can check it out on HP Tuners website.

I plan on pulling mine out and sending it in by Monday. First TNT is 3/25/2023 and hope to go 9.60s. We'll see

I've been running a tuned T87a in mine for so long that I had forgotten about the T93.

I JUST and I mean last week, did the T87a transplant into my ZL1. What a crappy time to do it. Good thing though if anyone wants to do the unlock and not be without their TCM, you can buy mine and send it in and keep yours in the car until you are ready to get it installed.

I was going to just buy a new one already unlocked but HPT is out of stock so I'll just pull mine and send it. Weather is kinda crappy here in Missouri so won't be driving it for a week or so anyway. HPT is just right next door in Illinois so it gets there in one day and hopefully have it back by next Thursday or Friday. I have an LT1 so I don't think I'll have to deal with the additional radiator I see guys pulling back to get to the TCM, so shouldn't to bad getting it out. It's $199.00 plus shipping for the unlock and 4 credits. Can't wait to see my first log and its not getting killed by the tq management. Should get it into the 1.30s on the 60ft where it should be and not stuck in the mid 1.40s where I've been since last fall.

Yea, my T93 is sitting on the shelf too. Should try to sell it.

Got mine pulled out this morning, not too much problem since mine doesn't have the additional radiator being it's an Lt1. Place the order and it boxed up and ready to ship today. Hopefully have it back late next week to install and if by chance the weather forecast changes by then I'll load up and go to TNT on Saturday. Shouldn't haven't too much of a change in the trans tune, up the rpm shift points and work on how to get the torque management issue resolved. If not next Saturday it will be the 25th weather permitting.

Yea hearing that HP tuner can unlock the T93 is great news! I plan to get the trans tune at the same time with the port injection. Can't wait to get it all done.

Just received an email from HPT and my TCM is being shipped back to me today. I should receive it Tuesday. I'll get it back in its cradle, read the file and license it with my 4 credits and be ready to tune it. I plan on my first TNT on the 25th, lets see how fast we can go with the unlocked TCM. We can raise the shift points a couple hundred rpm's, work on the torque management and let er eat. Predictions? Not sure but should go a couple tenths quicker then my 9.86, at least that my thought anyway.

Going to be hard to beat your 1.46 60 ft imo, but my predictions are possible 1.30's 60 ft, 1 tenth quicker to the 1/8 mile and 1.5 tenths quicker thru the 1/4. You know I am a conservative person ......

I'd say 1.38 60ft and ? I'm running the 98mm pulley right now for the 10.00 index class. Going to see how fast it will go with that one and then switch to the 95mm. I'm also getting my NHRA license which means 2 passes for the Street Car license that I can run down to 9.00. I think it will run 9.80s on the big pulley and 9.60s on the smaller 95, that's the pulley I ran 9.86@142.

At the track I knocked my short time from 1.67 to 1.51 with nothing more than the trans tune. Shifting was spot on now all the way up to 6600 and no more throttle closing at the hit. It will for sure be a saver for many. The ones you could purchase were from 700 to 900 so an unlock at 199 plus about 55 bucks shipping total to and from or 399.00 plus shipping for a new one is much less than the others, so either way HPT finally came through for the win.
