Yea, the Midnight Fall Gray or whatever they are gonna call it is sick. Man, those tires. Gonna have to buy a new set to daily drive in. We'll see what happens when I get tired of my Zl1. If I have it in me, I might just get a Zr1. Then have Matt build it up to 1000Hp. haha. But holy shit, those tires look rough. Those are the cups aren't they?

That ZR1 is looking even more appealing now. I saw the ZL1 trying to keep up with the Ford GT on the one video. And as impressive as it was, the ZL1 just was no match even tho it was being pushed while the Ford GT didn't seem to be breaking a sweat. So if the ZR1 is beating the Ford GT by THAT much then I can only imagine...

That pretty much sums it up.

I know. I'm rethinking my next purchase now too. But damnit, i just got out of a Z06. Not sure if I want another Vette right now, but good lord, if it runs like that stock? I don't know. And at that $130k price point? Might be tough to pass up. Think about this. It's $40k cheaper than the GTR Nismo in which I'm in love with and this car will wipe the floor with the GTR so.

Oh wait...the Ford GT didn't have the AC delete nor the titanium exhaust which all saves a few pounds. So it doesn't count...

Probably all true.

It's also true that some of us still think Ford didn't give it the right kind of engine and that it'd be worth more if they had.

What I don't understand is if the 6th Gen Camaro is such an engineering success, has all the performance standards, is such a performance bargain, wins the publication shootouts, but yet still doesn't sell. People don't want it.

January Sales:

Mustang 4732
Camaro 2867
Challenger 3405

None of those numbers are great, but what the Ford has over the Camaro in winter months is all season tires over summer only tires. The Camaro is more of sports car nice weather car, while the Mustang is more set up for all year driving. Hopefully GM will change this for 2019

In January of 2010, when the economy was in free-fall and people were losing their asses left, right and center..the 5th Gen sold 5,371 cars.

Flash forward to 2018, when the economy is arguably worlds better and people have more cash..and the 6th Gen Camaro, which is arguably a much better car in every metric (except livability and daily usefulness) ..can only manage 53% of that.

Why?
