BNR First: Flex fuel on ALL Camaro 2.0T Now Supported

Just what it says. BNR can now enable flex fuel on ALL Camaro 2.0T (yes, even 2016)

Lots of poking around but we figured out what was missing and got it working on our test car, which happens to be owned by JacFab :P

You can get a BNR tune for your LTG Camaro here- http://store.badnewsracing.net/BNR-T...20T_p_684.html

Flex fuel and crackle tuning included at no additional cost, and retunes for future bolt ons are always free.

This is on Jason's 2016 Camaro

Good work but I'd not say first. Vermont Tuning has had it working with EFILive across model years for awhile now.

Is there any info on this? Because I’ve heard this from a couple people, but we use efilive and it definitely didn’t work until we had it fixed across multiple years.

I mean really this is your response? VT's had it out forever and had zero issues across years except for OS tweaks. Are you using the OBD2 Autocal or the Autocal with a Flex Fuel Sensor to get readings? I'm not saying you didn't do a good job i'm simply and accurately saying your not the first and shouldn't claim to be when it's easy knowledge to find VT has had this done with EFILive for years with their own Autocal device.

You don’t have to get all grumpy, I’m simply stating that I don’t see and haven’t been able to find any info showing that it worked via vtuner. I keep seeing “I heard vtuner can do it” or “vtuner has done it” but I don’t see any info and haven’t been able to find anyone using his tune. Vtuner uses efilive, just like we do. I worked with efilive directly to fix it on several definition files that it was wrong on, just last week, including 3 different 2016 operating systems. If he’s using efilive’s definitions, it doesn’t work on every operating system, and that is a fact.

And we are reading the content through the obd2 port.

I would love to see some data or links showing it working by way of vtuner if you have them.

I'm not getting grumpy your just a piss poor advertiser making un-needed excuses to try and drum up business which I'm fine with but your not the first to do E85 with flex fuel and your not even the 2nd to get it going.

Not sure why you feel the need to try and dissuade people from other vendors and give false misleading claims.

You posted 3 links to the same person with the same model year car. My facts stand, Vermont tuning could not flex fuel a 2016, and probably couldn’t flex fuel a few other operating systems as well. BNR has solved this and we are the first company to offer comprehensive flex fuel support for every single operating system across every single year. We are also the first and only to get it working on a 2016, regardless of operating system.

I’m not trying to dissuade anyone from any other vendors, I’m stating facts. Vermont tuning could make it work on several different operating systems. But probably half of them out there it would not work on. He uses efilive. I posted an email showing that as of 08/22 we had fixed most of them. As of now, they are all fixed for BNR with private definitions, and we can enable flex fuel on ANY operating system. Whether or not these definitions eventually make it into efilive’s general population, I do not know. For now, they are exclusive to BNR, which is why I made the thread. Because we’re the only company offering it across all operating systems and years.

Not to start a pissing match, but pretty sure Trifecta has this worked out as well. Get this going in HPT for 16 and 17' and you'll be a hero. 18' and 19' work with nothing special.

Fairly certain VT has it working across all years. Can i confirm this 100% no because i have a Dyno Tune using HPTuners but VT has also had this out for 3yrs. now so your claims he doesn't have 16 or 17 are also BS but he also doesn't come on here making wild claims after extensive evidence to the contrary to make a few bucks. Cooper is right you wanna make a splash get it working with the HPTuners OS not your proprietary locked EFILive tuning it's been done get over yourself.
