Would you put 4 year old tires on your car? I had some Continental DWS's that were new old stock and had this weird intermittent vibration whenever I put those wheels on but the vibration was non-existent on the stock wheels. Never found out the root of the problem because I sold everything when I sold my car but I'm convinced it was the tires(wheels were balanced 3 times to make sure they were balanced).

Shows out of stock again. I ordered some a few days ago. 2 were produced in 2016 and 2 in 2017. They still look, smell, and feel new. Very happy with the purchase.

While the tires are 4 years old, Tire Rack does properly store their tires so you don't get the aging effect from the elements and UV. Storing an unmounted tire does not age like a mounted tire. But the down side is that the tires are not wrapped so there is off-gassing that degrades the tire performance. The other downside is that if you do try to take these to an event where they check tire dates, you will likely fail tech inspection. But to drive on the roadin a somewhat normal manner you'll be fine with these tires.

I bought some for extras with my wholesale account, a shade under $550 per set shipped. They are all ‘16 & ‘17 date coded and in perfect condition.
