Skinny Front runners 28 or 26 tall?

Skinny Front runners 28 or 26 tall ? I think the 28s would be better , am I wrong and why .. I want some input before I order the tires .. Going to be running M/T 305/45/17 rears that are close to 28 tall ..

Thank you ..

Yep

But if you have the choice the 26 will get you lower to the ground and reduce drag

From everything I've read you will be faster on 26s so that's the direction I'm going even though I think a 28 looks better.

I'd do the 28's, your probably going to see some lights come on your dash, traction control, abs.

26" if it will work, less weight too. I always use a min. of 1" shorter front tire.

26" front won't work with a 28" rear.

My 245/40-20 front tires are 27.70" & my 305/35/20 DR's are 28.70" so you can run a 1" difference.

i got some brand new 26x6x18 tires from Mickey thompson if you want lol,

So i found out the hard way 26s wont work with 28s so i'm stuck with brand new 26 front runners (mickey thompson sportsman sr).

I've heard 26s get you some better times. I would of went 26s all around myself but i dig that 305x45x17 et street r setup i have in the rear. if i go 15s in the rear i'll be doing 26 inch tires.

Get some M/T ET Street S/S DR's 305/35-18 for the rear & your good. Only .61" taller in the rear. The compound is the same as the "R"

I have 17s in the rear. 18s in the front. and yeah i thought about that, worse case scenario i just get some rears that can fit with the fronts if no one buys them from me.

Just a heads up for future buyers, 17" skinny race stars will clear the 6 piston brakes. I'm running them on my car.
