Can we update to the new MyLink?
Hey all.
Anyone know if existing owners (2016-2018) can update our infotainment to the new MyLink? Either from the dealer with an update or third party? I’m guessing no, but in a world of yearly smartphone updates it sure would be nice. The new system seems much more polished. Also, on a side note, I have a tonne of issue with my Apple Car play not working properly. I often have to plug and unplug my iPhone over and over to get MyLink to grab it properly. It’s only at the beginning and once it’s hooked up, I don’t have issues. Another problem is when MyLInk will grab the audio signal from my phone and start playing it through the Camaro speakers, but the CarPlay app won’t show up on screen. I’ve spoken with Apple and they say it’s not on their end, and it’s happened since the day I bought the car. Chevy has no clue what to do. |
