Please post pics of your J-pipes

I have a 2010 SS M6 with Stainless Power LT headers (w/ hi-flo cats) and a Flowmaster cat-back system. I get quite a drone between 1,800-2,000 RPMs. I want to have some j-pipes installed and the guy at the exhaust shop wants to see some pictures of what I want. Can you help a brother out?

Pics are on SOLO site, they have a J-pipe kit I think and you just weld them in. Give em a call!

This is a pic of thier whole system but it shows the J-pipes really good.

Honestly, I would just order the whole system and put it in, sell the old system. I know it sounds crazy but Flowmaster is just a droning POS.

J pipes need to be engineered in order to eliminate drone, I second zz430 in saying that you should just order the full system.

I've been considering it, but I thought that J-pipes would be cheaper. Looks like there is a little more to it than that. At one time, I found a website that helps calculate the length of the J-pipe, but I'm having a hard time finding it again...

The axleback system is a lot cheaper but I feel you on the cost.

True, the axleback would be cheaper. I think the resonator in the full system will help with the quality of the sound

Video is annoying but there are some good sound clips of that system.

This is what I run on my car, the fit is excellent and no drone at all..

Here's a couple of clips of my exhaust:

Pre tune exhaust clip

Post tune exhaust clip

I have Solo Mach XL catback with catted Kooks LT's. AFM is still enabled post tune even though everyone says they can't stand how bad it drones on their cars, I have never had any issues with it. Also, I listen to my radio at volume level 6 with no issues hearing it unless I'm WOT.

See my members thread: Blackbee’s big brother, Red Baron for pics. If they are made they must be if the correct length to kill drone in a specific rpm range 2” pipes and if possible adjustable end caps to change length to adjust as needed. S, or j shape it doesn’t matter
