Anyone know the 60-130 Times on Stock ZL1 vs Modded ZL1's

Didn't find any 60-130 numbers on the net unless I overlooked something. Just curious to see what it runs compared to some other cars. Stock or modded ZL1's 2017 and up.

Does anyone have any VBOX data?

How modded? haha. I know mine is scary fast right now compared to stock.

You need to get into PowerFabs track rental on May 16th and do some real testing.

A stock Zl1 trapping 123-127 is going to be around 8.8-9.2 depending on the conditions and how many shifts if its a manual or auto.

supposedly matt is doing one here in a few weeks and I told him I'd go. Will be my first time at a drag strip. I'd rather go with him so he can teach me how to launch and stuff. But, I'd imagine after a few hours at the track, you'd be able to get some stuff dialed in.

Just going by what he knows and my car, he said if I had DR's, I'd be a low 10 sec car so. But honestly, I don't get all into that stuff. I prefer the streets.

At least the same 1.5 sec and 15 mph. Got a mod list you care to share?
I'm not sure about 9's. Maybe so. But, doubtful. I'd have to have perfect conditions, perfect launches, perfect everything. haha.

If Matt says I have a low 10 car, I'm going to go by his word.

If you have time, go out a few nights a week to a closed off road or large parking lot or somewhere that isn't populated and practice your launches. Do this before the event. Although you won't have anything to gauge it by, I can assure you that you'll be much better out there than if you don't get any seat time at all.

My experience was that I did horribly the first time out in my Camaro. But it was my first time at the track in that particular car and my first time ever in a manual trans. I did horribly. So after that first outing I would go out about 2-3 times a week and practice about 3 launches. I did that for 2 weeks and went back to the track and I did much better. Seat time is important especially if you're not familiar with launching. I've seen plenty of 700hp and 800hp cars run a 13 because they spun and spun...although they trapped like 130, lol! So just get some time in before the event.

That was me... I still banged off over 130 mph in the 1/4 with high 12s and 13s.. on street tires with the nittos 305 40 18s I managed 11s probably should of went for MT but the nittos were better in the rain and more for street use. I still spun with the Nittos.. 3rd gear held better though.

If the 1/4 mile track was 20 yards more it would be a lot more fun.. So many times losing to a car that runs 10s or 11s at 115.. only to pass them like they are standing still just pass the 1/4 marker.

I thought my bogging was gone but now that its hotter and a few dry days it seems worse even with the Matt Sorian tuning we are going to check it out when that Dam Carbon elite CAI shows up.. Nothing in his tune just no way to check for that the day I got mine tuned it was 50 and rainy. One thing for sure the car in active rev match or off it hasn't revved 1 times since its been tuned and that was 4k miles ago. before that it was every day..

The extra 100 hp for pulleys and headers does help.. Before my wifes SS with an eforce was faster 60 to 130 something or 2nd gear to 4th.. Now i barely have the edge but I think if she had better tires it be even I have never gotten my car to spin on the highway at 60 and hers will.. I image its because the eforce has more torque than the my 1.7L or the ZL1 diff.. I never see the traction light so I image its the torque.

I want to go to powerfabs day to.. 20 cars all day for 300 seems high I'd rather see 40 cars at 150.00 Still would be able to run as much as you want or something broke.. from 6 to 10 in Sealy we get as much as you want for 40 bucks I usually go 6 or 7 and say that's enough..but could go 10 or 15 times more or until out of gas if I wanted. Granted that strip doesn't hold like RP but it still practice and fun..

So after you did pulleys, Headers, and CAI.. you went back for a Cam to bump to 730s.. or did you do something else to the fuel system to reach that level?

Nope. Just upper and lower pulley done. Headers. Exhaust. Intake. Dual Nozzle Meth. E85. Plugs. Wires. Tony Mamo TB. And about 15 tuning sessions. Matt got me 740 to the wheels and he said there was a bit more left, but he didn't want to push it. Cam is already in the works, but he can't get me in before 2k so. I posted up some videos of some roll on runs, they weren't even races. I was just showing how fast that speedo moves. haha. I did a few 20 mph rolls to 120. Some 40 rolls to 120. Can't keep the car straight. You see me fighting the wheel the whole time.

I can rent the track out myself if I wanted too. I even spoke to Matt last night as I swung up there just to hang out. I'll pay for a track rental myself and let 10 of us Camaro and Vette guys go at no charge. We'll prob have to wait till after 2k tho. Matt is basically booked until then.

Old thread I know..
I haven’t tested yet but would guess a stock a10 ZL1 would be in somewhere in the 8 sec range 60-130 in decent conditions(< 2000 DA, good quality fuel, not hot and humid...) on a flat surface of course. Maybe low 9ish sec in poorer conditions. Super high altitude even worse. Same factors that affects 1/4-1/2 mile measurements.

My prior stock similar performing auto Hellcat 60-130 would vary between 7.9 and 9 but would typically be low to mid 8 sec.

With E85 in the tank I consistently run in the 5.2-5.3 range
