The song is "Freedom Fighters (Choir)" by Two Steps From Hell. It's a very nice tune
As for the delay, it was inteden for last Christmas, it was even ready but was delayed due to the effects of last years writers strike. Paramount simply had a gap to fill in May. Same thing what happened with the new Harry Potter movie. Oh and for anyone who REALLY wants to talk about Trek, Sci-Fi or TV in general, go join trekbbs.com. I've been a member there for six years plus and it's a great community.

The only thing I hate about these Star Trek Movies/TV shows that are suposed to be about the early years is they do not hold true to the origonal Star Trek Timeline.. Enterprise was full of aliens that were only discovered on the Next Generation and not even mentioned on the origonal series. Plus the Klingons that were supposed to have evolved from the origonal Star Trek to the Next Generation were still looking like the Next Generation Klingons on Enterprise..
By the way the delay on the movie was because the ABL didn't work like it was supposed to on the Enterprise...

Just found it somewhere. Indeed it is very nice. I cannot wait until May..Camaros on the road, and Star Trek in theaters.

LOL, I didn't think that It would make it past three posts. I didn't know how many fans would still be out there. I know they have a strong fanbase, but I also knew it was dying off.

Saw it last night...
ABSOLUTELY EPIC I have been a Trek fan all my life, this movie was everything it needed to be and more, The entire theater erupted in applause. If you have never seen Star Trek, you will love it, If you have you will appreciate just how perfect this film really is to breathe a completely new life into a completely stale franchise. Possibly the best Trek ever.....

I went to see it on opening night at 700pm and was expecting greatness instead got mediocre dribble. First off TNG tech would have provided ample time for evacuation of Romulus. Second the story was unbelievable and contrived (even for Star Trek) they could have just remade the friggin thing without destroying the entire star trek universe. Horrible job as a star trek movie awesome job at an action flick.
