I say announced January 9th in Detroit, side by side with the ZR1, both having the LT5 under the hood. Of course, with near certainty, that I am completely wrong again.

I read something the other day about how manufacturers are waiting to reveal flashier models at "flashier" shows.
Strange how the Detroit Auto Show isn't flashy enough. This was the place of the original 2006 Camaro Concept reveal... Quote:

I guess the DOHC Z/28 is going to take a little bit longer to get ready before they are ready to show it. The ZL1, 1LE are the new Camaro's for 2017. The Z/28 for 2018. Just my guess.
