I wanted to give an update on the search for the ground effects kit... I put in a request to gmpartsdirect and heard nothing but crickets to this date...
I called the local dealership and was told with the current state of events it would probably not be in their hands until the end of july...{!}..But.. They did give me the number of a dealership in Pa. that had the kit in stock according to their data..
I gave them a call and was told the kit was sent back..After a few hours the parts department of that dealership called me back and said they located one and could have it for friday !!
Sure enough I got the call today that it's there and I'm picking it up tomorrow..
Quite the process but at least there's appears to be a happy ending..I'm going to check the kit out before the ride home..
