Two or more sms, notification will not clear automatically

Has anyone else noticed and/or figured out how to stop this from happening. Basically, if your phone is connected via Bluetooth and you get a text message, the car will notify you on the digital cluster. You can click on listen or dismiss or do nothing and it goes away on its on after about 3-4 seconds for a single text. However, if you received multiple text messages (more than one) simultaneously, the digital cluster will just keep going and going until you acknowledge it. And you have to click dismiss or listen for each individual message, otherwise you'll constantly hear the notification. This gets very annoying if it happens often. Do we know if Chevy is aware of this bug? This been going on since I bought the car back in 2017.

Unless this is already fixed in the latest version of MyLink 2.5, it's unlikely GM would release upgrades after all these years, especially since 3.0 has already been in production for well over a year. I'm pretty sure nobody is actively working on our older software anymore. I think your best bet is to visit a dealership, check if your 2017 is on the last version and update if not.

I have encountered this on my 2018. I was on a phone call so I ignored the text. It continued to chime every minute or two throughout the call but I thought it was new messages coming in. When I finally finished the call I checked my phone and only 2 messages.

I don't know if it is just with the convenience and lighting package but my 2018 1LT RS doesn't have this issue.
