"If you’re gonna do that many events, you’ll prolly want a set of square wheels/tires to help even out tire wear... "

Indeed. I'm going that way for sure. In fact I have a Leroy Engineering Grid trailer and their ultra cool hidden Camaro hitch on order but they won't be delivered until March or probably April. I'm going to develop the car on Nitto NT-01s track tires as I see them go 25 hours under a 2600lb BMW. I don't want to drive them on the street so I can't really go square until I have the trailer.

I'm hoping to get 6 days from a set of 4 tires so I'll use 5 sets this season. I've budgeted for 6 just in case. I hope to get about the same 6-day life out of track pads too.

Is 3 weekends too much to ask for from a set of pads and a set of tires?

No, that’s pretty realistic, NT01’s square might get you 4 weekends (8 days) depending on track surface. Brake pads can usually handle 10-12 days, again somewhat track dependent.

will DTC-60 pads work well the OEM G3 tires on track or will you get into ice mode issues?

For sure. I’ve had great results with the OE tires and DTC 60’s. I’ve never once had ice mode/abs issues on track pads on the Camaro.

Getting only 4 days out of front DTC70. Gets expensive

I only got 14 sessions (2.5 days) out of my front DTC60's. Rather alarming lol.
I am switching to Gloc R16's with cooling for this year.

Also heard the 60 and 70s eat rotors rather quickly

ST43 where good on the street never went below 60F though.

Very grippy pads in the street too easy to activate ABS
