I love overpasses and tunnels...

....in sports mode with the windows down and sunroof open, dropping a gear or two while goosing it a bit as the sound of hearty V8 with popping exhaust perfectly synchronized in the mix just surrounding you and everything around you into an echoing ambient heaven... it just makes life awesome for those few moments.

I "only" have the V6 and I still love to do that! The sound is intoxicating, especially with the top down. I can only imagine what its like with the V8...

There's a ramp from Rt. 78 west to Rt. 287 south here in NJ that's a two-lane, sweeping left-hander and at the end you go under an overpass. Perfect spot to mash it while passing other cars! Buh-bye!

Yes me too especially when I had my 2010 2SS LS3 6 speed with LT headers and 3 inch exhaust system and air intake! I used to love to shift down a couple of gears and punch it! With that SLP loudmouth 2 exhaust, it would rumble and make music to my ears!

Love doing that on the small old tunnels on the Blue Ridge Parkway, especially when there is no traffic...slow down, put the windows down and take off!

Hell yeah! Took the woman to Asheville for her bday weekend, so we had to take a ride through there. Of course I had to hit the clutch for a quick rev & then hammered it from 1st to 2nd through a tunnel. Best part was there was a Prius in front of me who immediately threw his hand out the window & gave me a thumbs up. Pretty sure that made my day & his lol

This past Tuesday, I was leaving the Stars game and made a lady scream when I fired it up. I add a touch of gas pedal on start to give it that extra oomph, think I scared her half to death

. Parking garages are extra fun for this reason.

It's not as good as tunnels, but walls and guardrails can help the sound. Dominion Virginia Raceway has walls on either side between T1 and T2 you can catch on throttle, and out of T8 there are guardrails on either side that reflect the sound more than you would think.... it's great!
