The Camaro is fun to drive. It can be made better with a supercharger and all kinds of great mods out there. Hell if it was about power I could upgrade to the ZL1. For me it's more about the comfort factor. Just not digging it in the Camaro.

I owned my 4th Gen Z28 for 20 years. I took pretty good care of it, but I plan on taking better care of my 6th Gen vert. So, as long as it doesn't have any major issues that make it cost prohibitive to keep it, I plan on keeping it at least 20 years, if not until I can no longer drive.

A couple of years at least, as I don't think there will be anything better out there before then. Or maybe I'll fall into some money and can nab a 991.2 911 Turbo S.

Forever. But I said that about the previous two cars that I traded.

Really not sure.. I like it a lot but if I run into financial issues I will probably sell it. Otherwise I would keep it and add to the garage as I see fit.

My 2 year old son is disabled...I plan to drive it as long as he is small enough for a car seat with a 5 point harness

I think it's going to be one of the last great naturally aspirated, manual transmission V8 cars. And as such, I think it's going to be a future classic. quick auto transmissions, turbos and smaller displacement are knocking on the door, and manufacturers are finding it increasingly difficult to hit their efficiency mandates with 6+ liter NA engines.
Provided that the electrical and other systems don't start breaking down over time, I don't see any reason not to keep this car indefinitely. In fact, I am strongly considering buying a LT1 crate motor and stashing it away for some future day when the current motor is used up and needs to be completely gone through. And considering the rate that I am putting miles on the car, that day may be closer than I think... |

I'm pretty young, so I definitely will want to upgrade at some point, but this being my first car I paid/am paying for, I definitely want to keep it forever (or however long it lasts). Its just a special car.
