Red face 2021 Red Hot!

I just took delivery of my M6 Red Hot ZL1. What’s better than an upturn in the weather on the day after? I’m getting a lot done, then washing it for the first time. Dealer couldn’t wash it since their equipment is offline due to freezing and bursting.

I commented to my salesman that the front end sure was sitting high up compared to my 2017 sitting next to it, but he made no comment. This afternoon, I Jack it up just a bit and see that they left the transport spacers in the front strut springs, d’oh! I fixed it myself, and quite proud that I remembered that from an earlier post years ago in this forum. Thank goodness for this forum and the sharing of information from all its members! I hope everyone gets a chance to thaw out soon, and may Spring get here quickly!

Tara

Tara, why did you get rid of the ‘17? Any issues or problems?

No, no issues or probs. I had it for four years almost exactly and wanted a new car warranty again. Also, since I’m retired once and still working, I can afford it and enjoy it while I’m still young enough to still enjoy it!

Tara

PS...no probs other than the multitude of TSBs on it when it was new, but nothing after that.

She’s clean! ...or as clean as I can get her with dirty ol tap water and amateurish tools.

The 6th Gen is such an amazing platform, I can see why one would re-up on another one. Looks great, congrats!

Congrats on the car Tara looks beautiful in that color as well. Was your previous ZL1 an A10 or an M6?
