man, this is tempting. I had a red hot 18 that I sold and have regretted it ever since. Ive been looking @ g80 and f90 but I secretly would love to get back into a ZLE. Then I remember that I went through 4 sets of goodyears in under 10k miles and it was going to need rotors and pads soon. Amazing car on track, but spendy to run more than a couple a year.

The M is going to be less? Weights more and slower car, idk if that balances out to using less consumables on the track.

Upgrade to AP brakes and run 18s and your costs are dramatically reduced at the track.

It’s a great car for sure. I bought it to track it. But never got around to it. Honestly, I’m done with the track stuff for quite a while. Just looking for something more practical for daily use.

Car is pending sale at the moment. I havnt driven a g80 yet, that may be a possibility though. F80 kinda felt that way though. Not great at any one thing. But good at a lot of things across the board. But it will for sure be more practical for my family .
