What would that have to do with a power roof?

considering:

Look closer the tonneau is shaped different in the convertible. The humps behind the seat and how they fit around the seatback. I forgot to add it looks like on the vert it looks like it could say Camaro in the space between the seats on the tonneau. It may be a render but it is pretty detailed.

In my 2001 vert all the power top cylinders and hydraulics live in that area. with out power you do not need all that, Also that's a good 200Lbs of weight.

Depends on how the top folds, the ones on the 5th gen are fairly compact and sit low. I doubt seriously the power mechanism weighs 200 pounds.

The majority of the added weight is from the added structural bracing, not the power top mechanism.. It wouldn't matter if the top was powered or not, you still need that bracing.

good catch, although I thought rear headrests were a federal requirement.

For the picture to be of a real car you would need to see a rear quarter panel. As pointed out this ain't it.

I don't think anyone said it's the real car but you have to admit comparing the two renders there are differences that would show up if that was a convertible.
