Let's try to be objective ...
Under its skin, whole new car, until reviews or tests drives, not much to say because not much is known Design: I prefer my 13' 1LE. I prefer my 13' over a 14' for sure. But I also remember Camaro5 back in the days, do you? On the concept: everybody said "huuuuuge, i love the car" Then pre prod camo'ed car: "bouhouuuu what are they doing with the original concept"? Then un camo'ed Camaro: " what are these headlights?" Then official Camaro: "Concept looked so much better! Why this weird front on the SS?" I actually went through all these levels ... and to be honest, when I look at the concept now, I think my 1LE looks soooo much better! And actually, concept to production, the Camaro is probably hte car that knew the fewer changes ever! So now, we all have a point of view ... based on what is in our minds (current Camaro) and what we all expected or hoped. Chevy can't match our hopes because we all have different ones! The design will for sure grow in all of us. I won't by one because my 1"' 1LE is love at first sight, forever. But the car will make it. I don't have many doubts about that But at least, is not like the mustang: a fusion coupe with the same fascia as fusion, fiesta and even transit!

I dont hate it but I dont love it.
Love: Front bumper Rear tails Roof (the humps seem more exaggerated) Front head lights Hate: Hood vents (looks cheap) Rear bumper contours Side looks plain (then again, no good side shots). Spoiler (would prefer a lip) I think tomorrow will be better. Get a good side shot, see the wheels and brakes, the stance, and hopefully some other colors. Not sure why you would use silver and red metallic to show off a car. Hopefully the car will have lots of accessories and options to choose from. To me, the SS model should get LED's, not the V6 or 4 cylinder. Having an SS should be strikingly different then a non-SS.

With how many v6 models they sell, this is great news. It's going to run circles around the Ecoboost Mustang and v6 mustang. Probably perform on par with the 370z...as a base. I'm still guessing 342 though, since GM likes odd ball HP numbers. |

Would make sense if they want the V6 to compete with the Ecoboost. I've got respect for the Ecoboost's performance ability, but that sound of the LGX is amazing for a V6. I can't deal with the "diesel sound" of tuned turbo 4s anymore.

This one? It'll have to earn its keep IMO. It's hard to make a sequel as good as the "original" modern-retro (5th gen). Maybe it's because the 5th gen filled that hole that was left back from 2002. This time around, we have an excellent and well-loved previous generation to move from, so it doesn't feel as exciting. But time moves forward, just as the Camaro should move on stylistically as well. Hope it proves me wrong. Time will tell.

I paused the video and from what I can tell, the gauges are well lit for the lights not to be on. This makes me think LCD screen, but I definitely saw an analog set of gauges on the right, similar to the C7 but larger.

I feel like they should've just waited ONE more day for the official reveal, that way high quality pictures of the 6th gen would be the ones circulating the internet, not these. Not a good first impression. Tomorrow should be good for looking at pictures. Not sure what the idea was behind today though. I'm probably crazy but I really feel like those are renders and not actual pictures of the 6th gen.

I think it looks alright. The real reveal for me is the interior and tech. The inside of my ZL1 is absolute trash for a 60K car. If they get a decent interior I'll be in line to buy the Zl1 or whatever they choose to call it in a year or two. Otherwise, they will probably lose me to the Germans.

Ya know, I do find it funny that a picture from someone's cell phone of a TV broadcast has created this much discussion about how the car looks
Let's see what it looks like out in the sun tomorrow, shall we? Or are we just going to jump to conclusions like we always do? See: the 1LE can't possibly beat the Boss302, the Z/28 can't possibly out-handle a ZL1 with less HP, those headlights F'd up the Camaro, the 14 refresh can't possibly sell well, etc, etc.
