Gotta share this pic from the garage at the track yesterday. Had a blast & several thought it was funny I took it out there with the paper tag on there still. Also had an instructor ask if I brought enough car with me for my first HPDE lol.

Also met BadMojo (I think that’s his forum name) out there or BeastZL1 by his YouTube channel. Super nice guy who was helpful out there & gave me some good pointers!

Edit: just realized I posted it with my Mustang buddy yesterday.. sorry it was a long day lol

I finally downloaded the cosworth toolbox so as soon as I figure out how to edit vids, I’ll post some. I’m definitely hooked on the track & will be going as often as my budget allows! My instructor had an SS 1LE so it was pretty fun trying to keep up with the same car I just got traded in with a really skilled driver piloting. He’s definitely much faster even with my power advantage, but I was by far the fastest student at least. Made me feel good lapping a McLaren & every other student driver lol

Yeah just trying to keep from posting a 20 minute video is all. I think I’ve got it figured out but I’ll find out tomorrow for sure. My last session was the best because the other guy in my group had to leave early so the instructor let it rip pretty good. I was running a little over 2 minutes a lap, but we had go easy a lot to let him catch up. Unfortunately my PDR acted up & gave me a black screen on the final session, but the instructor said we were in the 1:40’s. Looking forward to going solo & seeing how close to that I can come without being able to follow his lines. I may be close but only because I can make up time in the straights... and he still had more left had he wanted to pull away in the corners. Lol
