DIY -mild to wild switch

Hey guys, I've been searching and searching this, I'm looking for instructions on how to do wire up a switch for the NPP. I don't want the stock setting for it though, I want the switch to keep the flaps open or closed, no stock setting. How do I do this? I found the diy links but the pdf''s didn't open for me.

Thanks guys!

There is a diagram on this page:

just cut the blue/yellow wire going to the trunck fuse bix and install a 3 way switch.

I would think if you left off wire #1 on the drawing and just used a two way switch for wires #2 and #3 it would do what you want, either just open or closed.

I bought a 12v relay on Amazon for under $20 and wired it as per below, then reprogramed the Home Link to the remote.

Per personal experience, this mod is really almost not even worth it. I had a M2W from my C6, and there you could definitely hear the difference from on to off. With the stock NPP on my ZL1.... on my car, going from on to off you cant hardly even tell the difference. At first I thought it wasnt working, but it was.

When I first bought my car the fuse pull was the first thing I did, and I agree that stock it is only slightly noticeable, but now that I put long tubes and straight pipes its barbaric loud! !!! I need the flaps closed with wife and kids in , then open the flaps up when I'm alone !!! Lol
Oh, also put the fuse back in immediately now and it's still waaaay too loud above 3000rpm !!!
