I think the '19 also gains a front collision warning system?

Tricksta, if you're interested in all the gory and the glory, you can view the details on GM's order reference guide site at https://eogld.cloud.gm.com/dmdindex.htm. If you "print" distribution updates (opens in a new window, no need to physically print), you can track every change they made to the order book.

There are shorter MY change summary pages somewhere, too, but I don't have those bookmarked, sorry.

Thanks for all the info guys!
I think I'm going to primarily be looking for a '17-18, I hadn't really noticed the difference in tail lights because I've been primarily looking at the 19s, but back in 2014 when I bought my SS, I went for the 2013 instead of a 2014 due to front and rear cosmetic differences as well. Yes those bug eyed lights on the 19 are uglier than the previous years.

Regarding the infotainment system, it's an important difference between 17-18 vs 19 because the old system uses a MOST-50 audio BUS system, while 19 uses EthernetAB

Translation: if you like car audio (Bose system is not great in the ZL1) none of the current audio interface devices will work for the 19, so upgrading the audio system would prove to be challenging.

If that's not a good enough reason, and you don't care about audio, those ass-ugly bugg eye looking tail lights should be a bigger reason to go 17-18 vs 19
You can’t see shit out the back of these cars any way so why do taillights matter?

Plus others are going to be looking at them anyway right.

Buy a 19' and avoid the ugly 17-18 taillights. You see it works both ways.

I see that no one here mentioned the fact that Chevrolet removed the built in homelink garage door opener in 2019 in favor of putting the onstar controls there.

The 2019’s seats recline a lot farther than the previous 2 year models.
