While I don't disagree, I think it's a very slight time increase at best. I wish it did more but I just don't see it providing that much in the way of heat soak reduction.

More to the point, it eliminates the need for a special tool to ensure there is no air in the S/C system. With the engine running you take the cap off and make sure it's topped off, effectively bleeds any air in the system that can cause the S/C pump to turn off or the car to pull timing because of air in the S/C bricks.

I went with this tank because I have a Catch Can installed in the location that another manufacturer has you mount there "bleed tank". Plus it just looks better IMHO.

The efficiency of the heat exchanger also comes into play. It is a sealed system, so air should never be entering it in reality. Doing a much larger, truck mounted tank that you could drop frozen dixie cups into would be better for some applications. I have seen guys have good luck with the killer chiller type stuff too.

But no system is ever sealed 100%, air gets in over time and causes pump cavitation. After I installed the ADM tank I noticed a "froth" of champagne bubbles in the reservoir.

"Must do" relaibility mod imo, if (when) air gets into the system you won't know it until charge temps spike, which is very dangerous. This is an easy and cheap fix.

Open the cap
Run the car at idle
Air will go out

add one...worth every $. The factory system is very sensitive to air pockets and it will ruin your track time.

I Need to replace all my front radiators and intercooler’s after an incident on the track, can anyone recommend which option is best? Which company’s product is the best aftermarket radiator/intercooler?

Sorry to hear that. What happened, serious front end damage? I always pay the extra ~$150/day for track insurance because I know someday I’m going to total my car.

That’s really cheap, I’ve never seen track insurance that cheap before around here, but this is Canada where everything seems more expensive than in America.

Long story short, I wasn’t the one driving the car.

It’s about $300 per 2 day event whether you drive 1 day or 2, so I always do 2 days to make it worthwhile. And I improve more that way.

Good luck with repair!
