Cordes Performance Racing ZL1 1 Gallon Intercooler tank

Got a Cordes Performance 1 gallon intercooler tank installed this week.

It comes with hoses pre-terminated with connectors, hose heat shrink, zip ties, nut/bolt for mounting, nice MM catch can mount, and a CPR coozie!

You can see the installation photos below. I had to nip a 1/4" corner out of my fan shroud to make it fit on my car but you can't even tell. The hood rain diverter has to be removed to fit, you could easily take a small piece out of it too if you want to retain it.

Everything down to the cap on the container is very high quality. The black coating is tough and looks nice.

Looks nice! I would prefer a larger lid to make it easier to put ice in, but it looks like it can still be done.

When you say hood cowl, you're talking about the plastic rain diverter, right?

It has some other minor updates (3" borla catback, gauge pod, aerforce interceptor gauge). In a couple weeks it is going in for a magnuson 2300, headers, intake, TB, maybe more.

I was going to mount my CC there. Are there other mounting options? Perhaps back where the ADM sits?

Right now they have this one that mounts only as shown and the 2.4G bumper mount one if you need something with more capacity.

Joel has one of those on the 4 sale thread. Yours looks clean. I like that set up.

It fits in there neat, doesn't sit on top of the headers heat wise, and holds a decent amount. Their support with it was great too.

I wish it sat higher than the supercharger so it could double as a high point for potential air bubbles.

when the magnuson 2300 was put on my car we used the fill point supplied by them to fill and relieve the system of bubbles.

Will this tank also clear any air given that it's not the highest point in the system?
