Just installed LPO 56H wheels on my 16 Camaro yesterday, the local garage set the tires and TPMS but today for some reason the TPMS light is now coming on. Read this happens when putting new wheels on ect but not sure how to correct it myself, the book is a bit confusing to me on the fix. Really dont want to go to the dealer at all...

See my fix for this above and should work for 16 sensors, guy that said it did not work had 2010 sensors, see post 2 or 4.

Alright so i tried twice the method above with no luck. Brought to my local tire shop he reset it but still couldn't program it with his TPMS Tool. So instead of all the BS going to the dealer i ordered the Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor Activation Tool off a seller for about $75 shipped. I guess this may be the only way to get that dam light off and the tires set for now... I do appreciate the help though Glen!

Ok i want to update and this was not the correct sensors placed in the wheels i purchased the seller had told me today. This is why the wont monitor the tires. I will do a swap out on the sensors to new ones as i dont want to take mine off my other set and not worth messing those up. What a fun day!!! :(

Just an FYI the correct "2016" camaro sensors are 132 shipped to your door from maureen at rodgers chevrolet, mine arrived the next day and you are closer to her dealership than me, so yours should also be next day.

The new sensors needed are the 433 megahertz sensors! NOT the 315Mhz!!!

bought the new sensors from tirerack who said these have been working fine for 2016 Camaros.
tire place could still not sync them. neither could dealer. Tech says the aftermarket wheels are too thick? WTF? The signal goes through tire! This is starting to piss me off. Now I have to get them changed for the third time. Have to get them from GM I guess. I just don't understand why they work on some but not others
