Need help with a wind related rattle

Brand new 2019 LT 2.0T

At speeds of 50-90mph, there is a wind related rattle coming from somewhere near the right (and sometimes left) mirror area. It is not linked to RPM. Going over bumps does not cause it, and its the same on smooth or rough roads. The loudness of the rattle increases as speed and windnoise increase. It's kind of subtle, but extremely annoying. It sounds like a plastic part impacting a body panel. It is kind of random, almost as if something is flapping in the wind. It's not rotational and has nothing to do with wheel spinning. Very hard to tell if the sound is inside or outside of the car.

The sounds almost goes away if I get behind a tall vehicle in their wind shadow.

If I get in front of that vehicle, the sound comes back in full force, which is why I'm sure its wind related. I'm just not sure HOW.

thanks for any help

The "good old" mirror noise perhaps?

I'm honestly not sure if its that noise or not. I don't have a whistle. What I do have, is a rattle above 60mph that is very clearly related to wind/air. It gets super noticeable if I get up to 70mph. 80mph it is loudest, and above 90 it actually goes away. To be clear, it is not wind noise itself. It is definitely a rattle, just one that seems to be linked to air speed.

Check your air dams/undercladdings. Flapping as speed increases, doesn't exist with high speed.

Door noise

I had a noise like that. There are two plastic plugs on the bottom lower edge of the door. One was loose, I glued it, noise is gone.

thanks for those replies, I'm going to check the undercladding and the lower part of the door. I also have an appointment at dealer in a couple days in case it is the mirror or something else I can't do. Will update when I figure it out.

well, I finally figured out what was making this noise.
It was my air dams. I took them off to experiment with gas mileage, and the turbulent wind noise around the mirrors disappeared.
