As far as I know not much feedback yet. But as us Camaroers already know:
IRS + manual + launching = frustration

The CA6 SS on street tires is not hard to launch at all, no drama. But getting good 60s is another matter with a M6.

Atco was open last night! We ran in between the rain drops. But it was a hard night at Atco. Apparently a pair of POS cars made a mess of both lanes. On the left a car dumped antifreeze all the down and on the right there was a spill on the big end. So an over 1 hour cleanup resulted with still dangerous conditions afterwards. Pat and I just left after the long wait.

We both only made 2 runs. I ran a 12.5 and a 12.6. A few people came over to my car and asked what I did to it. I told them I washed it before I came to Atco. LOL Some people still have not got the message the new Camaros are players.

Pat's 5.0 redeemed itself with the new DR setup. Right off the bat Pat ran a 10.8. Then the next run he stayed in it all the way down. The result below. The GT500 next to him did not have a chance.

Any more questions about Pat's car?

This run was with the car in drive with no tire loading at the start. Also the air was not so good for Atco. His car probably has another 2 tenths in it.

Nice what all is done to the car? That sucks about the antifreeze on the track.

Damn Pat's car is fast!

Always sucks when the track has to shut down for clean ups.

The air was less that great last night. You can probably ad two/tenths to those slips this fall.

Paxton Mustang sidewinder kit, pulley, injectors, tune, catback, and new DR/Wheel setup. Pat is running the stock CAI and the tune is 93, no meth. Watching his car on the second half of the track it looks faster than that slip.

617 to the wheels Pat says. 3,850+ pound car. Uh huh.

Amazing. Pat really wants to beat his 2013 GT that he sold to a friend with his new car. That one ran a best of 10.7 in mineshaft air. No problem. See what happens to Pat's friends?

Back in the day, I went to high school with a guy who had a bad ass '69 Camaro. He poured thousands into that car to run 11 second qtrs.

Now you can buy one off the lot that will do that.

I personally know two M6 owners. One has hit 11.90's with just a drag radial, the other 12.20's all stock. Heck, even the new Car and Driver M6 test was a 12.3. Once more M6 guys hit the track and practice, you will see stock very low 12's become more commonplace.

I'm wondering how big the difference will be in the ZL1 from the 10 speed to the manual 6. The difference in the SS doesn't bother me that much... at least not enough to give up my stick.

The ZL1's A10's lower gear ratios are pretty close to the A8's. It has more overdrives probably to help avoid the gas guzzler taxes too. I don't know, ten gears is an awful lot of shifting, especially if your canyon carving or tracking it. Not sure how I feel about that yet, no matter how good the A10 may turn out to be...
