So you spend $895 on a NPP system (priced into the car), tear out those mufflers and spend another $1000+ to make an already nice rumble louder? OK.

I bought my SS without the NPP system knowing I may swap out axle backs for the Borla S-type later - the $895 will pay for the mufflers with an extra $250 leftover to spend on a new laptop so I could write this pointless post faster.

Im all for enhancing engine performance - like red bull with 2 Viagra tablets floating in it - but certainly not going to pay twice for it!

But you don't ability to do NPP at all and you also have the matte rear valence, and dont have the quad exhaust. I knew I would eventually replace the NPP but wanted to keep the dual mode functions and not have it on some fob.

I will order the NPP for my car. It sounds great, and is OEM. If I add a Corsa or Borla it will be later after living with the NPP for a while.

Quite a lot of people are rigging the dual mode to be open all the time anyway so if it's the sound you're after, there's other ways to get it. Also, I saw the GM dual exhaust rear ground effects piece at the factory fest so if you want gloss, there's one way to do it. For me, I prefer the matte look. To each their own...
