Exhaust Fulltime Track Mode vs. Fuse Pull

Any difference between just putting the exhaust in track mode versus pulling the fuse as far as sound at all? I’ve heard opinions both ways ... some say the flaps still close partially under certain situations when in track mode.

They do, that's why some still fuse pull, you can hear the difference.

Flaps will close a bit in track mode when cruising and light throttle (highway cruising or partial throttle from a stop light). If you want as much volume as possible and be heard even at partial throttle, pull the fuse.

what is the fuse# again...I assume it's the box under the hood??

I don't want to leave it out but curious about the differences & think I'll test for grins.

There’s tons of threads on this....I noticed zero difference what-so-ever with fuse pulled during any driving scenario or throttle position. Exact same sound in all cases with or without fuse

I pulled the fuse and noticed a difference. Plus you don't have that lag when you push the gas and when it is closing/opening.

The easiest place to notice this is on the highway in 6th gear. In 6th it closes the valves and when you do the rev match to 5th it is quiet but when you rev match down another gear to 4th it is open again. Unless I am on it hard it closes in 6th though.

No disrespect, but reread my post. I noticed absolutely no difference in ANY DRIVING SCENERIO, any throttle input, any gear.....anything. All identical to me.

Highway cruising had much better sound and the valves never closed giving it some rumble under light throttle. It even idles louder. The only reason I ever put the fuse back in is because I leave for work at 5am and I like to “stealth” out.

There is a difference, look up the stock npp table in hptuners. Track mode will close the valves at light throttle at low rpms to minimize drone.
