anyone with problems with their New solid isolator Supercharger

Seeing if any other ZL1 owners out there are experiencing what I am. Bought a leftover 13 A6 ZL1 with 38 miles on her.when I test drove the car with 38 miles there was a noise coming from under hood. I didn't really worry about it until I found out about the isolator problems and the SC tech bulletin. The noise I heard since day one is the common isolator noise. So at 3600 miles I had my dealer replace SC under bulletin. They did a great job on replacing the SC and had no complaints when I picked her up. I am Very OCD on this car and who works on it. I was a mechanic for years and know all about dealers. For roughly 500 miles no noises and car performed great. Until recently seems like the isolator noise is back. Sounds exactly the same as before. It's been making the noise for a couple hundred miles now. I haven't talked to dealer about it but will take her back in soon.

I am wanting to see if anyone else has a noise on their new Supercharger???

Thank You

The same rattle at idle? If so I'd wonder if they replaced it with the same old design instead of the new one. May have been some old stock still on the shelf somewhere. To test it pull the belt off the SC and rotate the SC pulley back and forth rapidly. If you have a little slack and can make it knock doing this you have the old design.

Keep in mind that the same TSB that described the process for replacing the SC due to the dreaded marble rattle and extended the warranty to 120k miles, also described the 'flutter' that will still be audible with the new SC at certain rpm's and load levels.

Yeah, but wasn't that with an M6? Which I read on here was why they didn't use a solid isolator to start with. The internet. Has to be true, right?
I'm at 12k and still no noise.

Why would any of this be funny or unbelieveable?

Have a tech check out the noise with a stethoscope. Maybe an idler pulley knocking? Also just to make sure, see if the supercharger part number put on is the one in the bulletin.

I had mine replaced about a month ago and it's become more noisy than the original. And it's not in 2 or 3 gear low rpm under load as the flutter bulletin describes. Mine is noisy at idle and unlike the original I can hear it inside the cabin. My dealer reported this to GM and gave me a case number. So far the dealer is being told that GM is aware that the new ones are making noise too and have no current direction/fix. I'll be checking again at the end of the week since I've been waiting for over 3 weeks for an answer from GM.
Is there a different part # for the newer supercharger? I'd like to check that out.

I have the exact same noise. Its louder then the old version and far more annoying. It makes noise from idle to 1000rpm and it gets worse the hotter the intake is. I have no doubt its going to break at some point.

I replaced my own isolator with a LPE and don't have any noise/flutter,I think some of these noises are random.

I had mine replaced about 3 months ago as well and checked it again after reading this thread. Put my ear right too the supercharger cover while running and car completely warmed up. No marbling, fluttering, or rattling...
Manual...
