Hello everyone,

Congrats to those with orders! If you have received an order number, you may also send me a PM for an order status update. I'd be happy to check into it for you!

3to6 weeks after TPW. There could be many things that could also hold it up. Even longer for us on the west coast.

Hi guys. Just checking out the Z forum to see what's going on. Awesome that you have Z orders on the books. Thought you might be interested in this post I wrote for a first time orderer the other day. Scroll down to Post 7.

Interesting post, thanks! Supply/demand. Either cut prices or production, so they cut production. US overall auto inventory to sale ratio highest in a decade other than 2009 highs.

And more importantly, what schedule have you made to accommodate all the C5 "friends" who want a ride?

Just received this email update:

Dear Mr. Brinda,

I have spoken with the order center and they said that your 2014 Z/28 vehicle order has been accepted by the plant and has been scheduled for production, at this time the target production week (TPW) is set for 4/21/2014.

I checked on the previous status codes for your order, and they are as follows:
1/24/2014 - Status: 1100 - Preliminary order accepted
3/6/2014 - Status: 2000 - Accepted by GM
3/6/2014 - Status: 3000 - Accepted by production control

The next status will be 3300 - scheduled for production, which the order will hit sometime between now and the TPW.

GM confirmed my order is now at 3400 - Broadcasted for Production, TPW is still the week of 4/14. They said a VIN will be available that week. I am very curious what number range I will get on the VIN. Does anybody have a feel for this based on first builds occurring this week and the two week plant shut down starting next week? Thanks.
