Supposedly viper has 2 models now. The base srt and a gts now for this model run.

Honestly? the viper weights like 1000pounds lighter, has more horse and more torque... they should never be compared especially the new one.
Im all for the ZL1 but theres some battles that u just dont bother to take.

Need to get facts straight before you say a Viper will outrun a ZR1....the Viper has 640 hp and it weighs 3620 (SRT) the GTS weighs 3520, a ZR1 has 648 hp and weighs 3268 (I weighed mine). So, the ZR1 has more hp and is lighter....who will rule? Hennessey's 700 package on a ZL1 matches the ZR1 excelerating numbers and top speed.....so who is afraid of the big bad Viper.....NOT ME!!!!! Have owned and raced Vipers, the suspension will not compare to a ZR1 or a ZL1. Besides, have you heard the price of the Viper, I haven't. Will have to be over $100,000. So I can take my ZL1 to Hennessey, spend $20,000 on it and be WAY ahead of the Viper. Have a nice day.

I read somewere that the Viper beat the ZR1 Time around the ring...
I'm not 100% on that... let me look around and see if I can't find the artical... (I could have drempt it too) |
