How difficult is it to remove the front bumper on a 2SS?
I want to have mine repainted, then PPF and Ceramic Coat because it has a ton of dings in the front. Many bodyshops just like to tape off the areas they don't want overspray hitting, but in my previous vehicles, overspray still shows up in areas I don't want it so I want to just remove the bumper and take it to them. How big of an ordeal is it to remove it? I've removed the bumper on a 4th Gen before, wasn't tough... is the 6th Gen significantly harder?

Thanks for the video. I watched it and it looks pretty straight forward.
Just wondering, do you have to remove the fascia to replace headlights, ballasts, turn signals, ect? |

Yes. It makes for a full day of fun when you need to replace them. The only thing I found you can swap without unbolting the front is the amber side markers

You can replace turn signals or even HID bulbs without popping off the bumper, too, but the headlight assemblies or DRLs are really no go.
It isn't challenging at all, I actually found reinstalling more difficult in terms of avoiding paint damage while doing it alone.

I've had my fascia off so many times that I can now do it solo, in about ten minutes. Even the first time wasn't bad, took about an hour

Agree it's not that difficult. That said, you go to a reputable body shop and they're going to pull that cover and paint it completely. Labor for R&R is minor...

If you are doing this yourself, put some painters tape on the front fenders adjacent to the front bumper to avoid scratching the paint while maneuvering it for installation. My scratches did buff out, but it's easier to avoid than to fix
