I would enjoy retirement a bit more if I were pointed (insert direction here) towards (insert destination here). I really hoped to put 25,000 miles a year or even more on the Bucket of Bolts.

If things sort out a bit, the AMG is track warrantied. Not quite a ZL1, but still a good enough track tool. I can see us all hangin' at NOLA once it is safe to do so. Having that in the stable made the choice easier. I am so old now, I'd likely be slow in a 911 GT2 RS.

Fast or slow, I think it's really about having fun. Being on the track for that year made me realize it's a privilege and a special experience to be at a racetrack and that's not an option to so many people.

Lapping at speed and then sitting around talking about it makes for a great time. It truly is a privilege. I hope to be able to do this again, soon.
