Shudder is back!

Noticed the last couple of days that the shudder is back, about 18 months after the dealer did the triple-flush. Same scenario as before - cruising on the highway at about 70mph, going up a slight incline, car shudders like it's going over rumble strips.

If yours was done 18 months ago, you don't have the new fluids. There's a new bulletin out this year for new fluids. Take it back and ask for TSB #18-NA-355.

The shudder on my 2018 2ss, camaro was confirmed today by the transmission specialist at the dealership. They are doing the procedure tomorrow, and said it takes about 3 hours. I will post on here what the paperwork states.

The new fluid will correct the shudder. I have done probably 50 flushes so far with no returns of shudder.

OK. Just got back from the dealership. Paperwork states:
Cause: Identify shudder when TCC engaged due to fluid viscosity.

Diagnose and replace / exchange transmission fluid per 18-NA-355

Definitely feels smoother and I swear the car sounds quieter for some reason. Maybe because it is not vibrating as much. LOL!

Recently bought this car and within a few days noticed the shudder. Took to dealer and the triple flush (TSB 18-NA-355) was performed but I still notice shudder. Dealer says I need to "drive car for 200 miles to complete repair." Isn't this fix supposed to be instant or can it improve over time? If still exists after 200 miles is torque converter next step? Thanks for any info

Dropped my car off on 5/7 and didn't get it back until 5/13. However, the new flush seems to have fixed it. I have driven 1k miles since then and the shudder has not returned. Shifts seem to be smoother (car seems more tame if that makes sense).

Yup, was one excuse after another. Dropped it off to get tested. Then ordered the oil. Didn't expect the oil to arrive for two days. Then got busy with other customer cars. etc etc etc. BUT, at least it work correctly at the moment.

Fortunately the flush only took one day for me

Unfortunately I don't think it worked

Wait, the new flush isn't working for you?
