Yes.
Swapping out the stock Goodyears greatly reduced the rocks throw up onto the paint.
Cold the rocks would get embedded in the cold hard rubber, actually leave an imprint on the tread temporarily, and hot the tires were sticky and pick up rocks like glue.
I've seen the chips on standard SS trim Camaros, but nothing like the damage the 1LE does to itself.



If you are going to daily the car and live where roads are crappy with lots of road "marbles" you would be wise to swap out the tires.
