I really like the BMR 1.25", that's what we install the most of here. Noticeable handling and aeshetic difference over stock, but not too rough or unusable on bad roads. Got 'em on my own car too.

Anyone have decent luck with 1.4'' BMR drop springs?

Thanks for all the input guys. Probably going to go with BMR 1.25" and Bilstein B6's.

Noticed you are in a regular SS, that combo is stiffer than what you have now. Not sure if you have driven/rode in a 1le but that combo is a tad stiffer than a stock 1le set up. Just an FYI. It's a great combo but you will feel the bumps.

^Is that the 1.25 drop?
I'm thinking about going 1.4 in the front and 1.25 in the rear.

This is what I installed on my SS and really like them.

Yes -1.25 all around. The 1le has a stretched tire(285) in the rear so the wheel gap is more pronounced than on the regular SS. The ZL1 comes with a 305 so it feels the wheel well better. Also, I only had maybe a few hundred miles on the new springs/struts when the picture was taken, hoping it settles a little more. I didn't measure before and after but I think the rear drop was only about an inch. Be careful, depending on how the back and front drop your "rake" might be more than the .15"? Also, depending on your front and rear tire sizes that could could influence the "rake".

I just finished my 1" drop all around yesterday. Looks really good. I'd do 1.25 if I were you
