if your car supports wireless carplay, then it should support wireless android auto.


For my car that predates wireless android auto, i took some fiberglass and flexible foam 1mm thick foam board and made a vertical pocket insert for the rear bin area behind the arm rest. I just let the phone fall vertical in the pocket and plug it in (the usb port is facing up)

Phone is out of the way of both front seats and plugged in for full current charging and it still has plenty of gps access.
