2020 Vert owners (maybe everyone)

What all came with the car at delivery?

It looks like I am missing the Race Brake Covers, but is that due to being a vert?

I got

Tow hook
Fuel filler
Socket

All I got was the tow hook and the fuel filler with mine, I asked about the brake deflectors and was told they only come with the performance pkg. Sounded like a line of bull, but I think the real reason is that it is a vert. I don't really care anyway as I will not ever track the car.

FarmerFran, I received exactly what you did. The socket is to apply leverage to the key if you need to unlock the trunk manually. There is a keyhole behind the top of the rear seat back.

Very familiar with the socket (aka Key Extender). Used it a few times when I had the "Top Not Secure" issue and it disabled electronic unlocking/opening of the trunk.

And I do read my owners manuals. I guess I never put 2+2 together.

Same here.. . Just the fuel filler and tow hook... btw... Do convertibles have a SD card slot? I've YouTube'd it but still scratching my head. Either mine doesn't or I'm blind... 2018 2SS Convertible

Not sure if coupes do, but my 2017 did not.... There's a few threads on adding one by using the part from a Silverado.... seems like a good winter project I may try since my USB plug seems loose in the console

Odds are, if it DOES have a SD Card slot, it's being used by the maps database card for the Navigation.

Convertibles do not get PDR, so there will be no under-dash PDR card slot.

If you want a general purpose SD card slot as opposed to built-in PDR-only, or navigation only ones (with newer model years), indeed you can very easily perform this Silverado SD reader conversion. I did it on my 2018 and the head unit supports SD card media readers, even though the car doesn't come with one, it even displays the correct SD icon. On my 2018 2SS vert I have the tow hook and the socket but can't find the fuel filler, is it supposed to be in the truck with the hook or somewhere else?
