Diffuser lights

Hi everyone, I have a new splitter and diffuser lights I'm going to be installing very soon and I have a question about wiring the diffuser lights. My plan is to wire to the brake lights and use dim setting for running lights and brake light for brighter light. I do not have the plug and play harness. I've seen a couple schematics but not 100% positive in the wires I'm attaching to. Can someone help me out or verify? I'm seeing black as ground obviously but for left light violet Grey is my running light and white violet is my brake light. For the right light Grey brown is running light and blue violet is my brake light, does this sound correct? I'm planning on cutting the harness back a little and using t wire taps to attach my wires. Would anyone have any other suggestions or advice? I'm trying not to cut up or mess with the harness too much.

I hooked up my new diffuser lights. Just wanted to post for anyone looking in the future. The wires I said to hook up were correct, happy instalation!

Got em off of ebay for like $25, very good quality too, very surprised.

Ah, I see, thanks Booher. Your car looks awesome, those exhaust tips are massive

These dual/surround style LED strips look a bit strange to me, I think I'd prefer a single, beefier strip across the middle of the reflector, that'd feel like a better fit with the running lights.

Nah, just search diffuser lights on ebay, there's a ton of them. Thankyou sir, I very much appreciate it, and to each their own. I haven't seen a single bar one yet, but thankfully I like these. And yes, exhaust tips are big, I love it, gotta give it up for stainless works for sure. I went to a camaro meet up today called run to the fun, like 50+ camaroa, and I swear, none of them sounded like mine. Idk, maybe I'm biased, hah, but I love my sw mufflers! Tbh though, after seeing all the mods on the other cars I want more power! Haha, damn hp bug got me big time. Time to save for the c8 intake!
