Best was 13.0 at 111.8 with a 2.15 bleh. How people are trapping 115+ stock manual is beyond me. The car's got a 12.6 in it with a 1.9...but with these stock good years FORGET IT - 1/2 throttle all through 1st unable to catch,

Had a very good time today despite my shitty ETs from those spin city passes, thanks for the chat guys. Great weather, nice turnout and a bunch of awesome cars run by cool people.

Nah, it's still the same utterly craptastic half mile access road. I switch to tour mode and negotiate it at 10 mph

Well, along with all the positives of the day, here's the thing that sucks the energy out of me. I was there from 11am to almost 4pm and only got 4 passes in, the first two of which were back to back.

I'm a stinking amateur and need a lot of practice to figure out a decent launch on street tires even with the A8, it's either slow as hell or I just spin—tried easing into it from idle, harder in 1st, smooth in 2nd, harder in 2nd, and oops, that's it, the day is over. Now with those 40-45 minute waits between passes in 64-65° weather, even the oil cooled down to 120 degrees...

So I don't leave early, because I keep hoping to make more passes and work out a good launch (for a low 11 pass that my car is powered for), but it seems elusive. Maybe I'll just try watching you guys autocross next time

Our next event is 24th.. if weather holds up. We clocked in 9 runs yesterday... in about 4 hours. 2 hours of driving, 2 hours of chasing down cones. Not bad Sunday!
