Which table?

I am trying to find out if the Map B(Winter) table is the one responsible for Rain/Snow mode? Can anybody confirm this? I asked on HP Tuners forum and they said table C, but that doesn't seem right as my Table A and Table C are identical, but B has much lower numbers.

My plan is to leave the Sport and Track tables as it was tuned, but reduce the Rain/Snow by 20% give or take to help with traction issues on the street.

I’m looking at a stock ZL1 tune now, and A & C are not quite the same. Look at the low speed low APP cells, table C has lower torque requests. I’m not sure why B is labeled Winter, judging by the torque requests I’d guess that is Track mode?

Well, that is consistent on what they say on the HP forum. My guess HP Tuners has it labeled wrong saying B is Winter. Should be Track and C Winter. I am gonna see if i can help my traction issues on the street by selecting Rain/Snow mode depending on the surface i am on. I will dial that table back 20% and play with it and see what it likes.

C should be snow/ice. When you scroll through your performance modes it goes Touring > Sport > Track > Snow/Ice. The tables in HPt should follow the same chronological order. However most of the tables that reference this group Touring/Sport together it seems. And I also believe we don't have full access to all the tables in any of the GM TCM controllers for the A8 and especially the A10. So even though the driver demand may look the same in A & C the there are some hidden tables we don't have access to that still effects throttle mapping.

You can log the drive mode PID and toggle through yours to see which correspond to verify.

But how will that tell me which Map in Editor it is pointing to? Or is there a PID in scanner for the Map as well to know which is being used?

I don’t know if the MY17/18 is the same but on my MY19 A10 ZL1 the Driver Demand tables are as follows,

Sport & Touring = A

Snow ice = C

Track = B

The trans shift modes are as follows,

Touring & Snow Ice = Normal.

Sport = Pattern A.

Track = Pattern B.

Mine is listed this way but people are saying the B and C are labeled wrong and should be reversed.

My DD tables are also labeled the same as the pic you posted.

What I posted above is correct (for MY19, I “assume” MY17/18 will be the same) as I have recalibrated my DD and Trans tables in my ZL1.

I submitted a ticket with HPtuners so they can reverse B and C labels on an upcoming Beta. They said they will have the engineers look into it.

HPT have had the tables labelled like that for ages (as in seems mis-labeled), even in the previous Gens. I don't know if its a GM thing or a HPT thing. It will be interesting if HPT follow up on your request and actually re-label them.

They replied to me last night and said they remapped them in the latest Beta based on my email. I then replied it would have made more sense to change the label instead of remapping. With so many people knowing it is backwards, how will people know you remapped it as if you were to change labels to match what people already know.
