Code:P0016

Got a check engine light a few days ago and scanned for codes. P0016 shows up and it is for a camshaft sensor for bank 1. I brought it in to the dealership hoping it would be covered by warranty but it wasn’t. They quoted me $1300 to fix it. I have a 2016 camaro v6 w/ 46k miles. Did anyone have this issue? Was it easy to fix it yourself? And also, where would bank 1 camshaft sensor be located at? And cost for repair. Thanks.
