I'm thinking of upgrading my exhaust to "Borla Axle-Back Exhaust ATAK for NNP quad tip". I had a SS blow past me on the freeway with a Borla exhaust, and it sounded awesome.



I need to make my 1LE sound "a little" beefier. Anyone have experience with the sound of this exhaust on their V6's?

I was going to go with the ATAK, but I ended up with the Flowmaster American Thunder axle back instead. Personally I think it sounds just as good (I've heard the Borla in person on the V6) and it's a good couple hundred bucks cheaper

Unfortunately, I don't see anything on their website for a 2020 V6 to work with NNP. All Flowmatser's NNP are for V8's.

Sorry I forgot you were looking for a quad tip setup. I think you're right that they don't offer that for the V6. I guess you are very limited on V6 specific kits. Borla is great but just overpriced IMO

Borla advertises their ATAK series as the most aggressive sounding systems on the market so you can't go wrong with the sound they produce. Here is a link to them and a link to the NPP option for 6th gen V6 Camaros.

I had the Atak, with black tips, installed on my non-NPP V6 RS this past June. Everyone who hears it, including me, say it sounds awesome...they can't believe it's not a V8! No drone inside either, at any speed.

Since the install, I manually shift 90% of the time, to keep the revs above the 2500 rpm sweet spot for that sound.

I have the Non NPP exhaust but it’s still quad tipped and I have done a few other things to the exhaust. I am still working on finding the right mixture but the borla by itself is amazing and I love it. Definitely makes it louder.
