Disconnect Battery

Hi,
Looking at installing Battery Tender wires to my battery.
If I disconnect the battery, will all (or many) of the electronic vehicle settings be need to be reset?
Thanks,
Tyrolblue67

I took my battery out last winter, and I don't recall having to reset anything except the side windows, and that is super easy: just roll them down and up.

Disconnected my battery a couple times the past week to install some mods. Only thing that reset was the memory setting for my seat.

For the record, I disconnected the battery for paddle shifter installation, which requires removing the airbag. Even though it was unhooked for a good 15-20 minutes (releasing those darn airbag clamps through two tiny holes took forever), nothing was reset, my radio presets and settings were preserved, I didn't even have to reindex the windows.

No need to go to the battery itself. Go to the plus cable and negative post in the engine compartment, where the manual tells you where you hook up jumper cables to jump start your car. Feed the pig tail down and fasten to your lower grill for hook up to your battery tender.

Not trying to hijack the thread but I just looked at my 17SS battery connections under the hood but cannot figure out how to permanently connect pigtails for the battery tender.
