What Happened to My Beautiful Gloss Black M017 MRR Wheel?

Any help would be appreciated. I noticed one of my wheels was in the following condition when cleaning it for the first time since getting it back from the body shop (my car was in an accident/at the shop for 3-4 weeks). The wheel behind it has a couple spots but is not nearly as bad. At the time, the wheel was approximately 6 months old.

I think it is the paint fading and peeling issue that many has. It is covered under warranty if I am not mistaken.

Are ou sure? If thoes are MRR aftermarket wheels the warranty will not pay for it.
It looks blunted. Check with the seller of the wheels if the warranty deny to take over.

It looks like something in the body shop contaminated this wheel. MMR will re-powder coatin gloss, or maybe warrantee it… Contact them directly.

Yes. Looks like a strong degreaser, possibly with sodium hydroxide, got on the wheels.

Go back to the repair shop and tell them they ruined your wheel.

Yep. My guess is that the body shop got something on the wheel that damaged the finish.

THIS... it appears to be some sort of over-spray. Make them fix it. They may have something that'll just remove the over-spray material if it hasn't etched its way into the finish of the wheels.

I can't tell from these pictures for sure, but usually that type of damage will polish out.
